“The house and decor were charming and heritage-style. The gardens are stunning. The host was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had its own exterior door to the gardens. The breakfast included with our booking was nice, served in a communal dining room. There is a shared lounge room with reading material, TV's, coffee and tea, and homemade treats. “Kitchen, toilet and the room itself is very tidy and clean and smells good not musky or having old smell. Cuttleries, microwave, fridge are very clean. We can see the cupboards are well maintained and not even a single trace of roach or pest infestation which we have seen in other accomodations we have stayed with. Chexkin was very organised. Definitely highly recommended to anyone travelling and wanting to stay in the area.”
