“Hip boutique hotel in a fantastic location. There’s no shortage of bars, cafés, and eateries along Brunswick Street. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveller, and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that there’s no gym in the building. I really enjoyed my stay and would be more than happy to return.”

“I opted for this hotel as prices in town had spiked up. The reality is quite far from what you see on internet. It is a decent place but could improve on cleanliness (carpeted floor is below acceptable, especially if you have a dust allergy - I suggest they get a better vacuum cleaner as a starting step). Staff is nice and most helpful. The area offers quite a different take on greater Melbourne.”

“Level 3 room 23, I guess you get what you pay for. Very nice host and good customer service. Room had wet carpet, I think from the fridge leaking. I removed massive ice sheet from it but had a loose wire inside, seemed pretty dodgy. Air con unit in similar condition and very loud. Lift had water underneath that drew up the water when going up and was a waterfall on the way down. Carpets looked warn throughout. Plus side inner city parking”

But the place itself is basically at the level of international student accommodation and gig worker haunt, meaning it has been treated like crap for years - it’s dorm room levels of quality. “Great location, needs maintenance. Car parking not secure despite paying for it. Carpet water damaged and had a funny smell. Room musty. Breakfast average for cost- pay extra for coffee. Opens at 7. Beds comfortable and room clean. Staff helpful.”
