2/10 Terribile

Our stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was a major disappointment. I'm not one to complain, but from the moment we arrived, it felt more like a one-star motel than a luxury resort. The atmosphere was dull, and while some staff were friendly, many seemed disinterested.
We booked a Deluxe Oceanview room—there was nothing deluxe about it. It was tiny, stark, and resembled a prison cell, with gritty floors and no warmth. For the price, the quality was unacceptable. We upgraded to a one-bedroom suite for an extra $420 just to be comfortable.
The "all-inclusive" claim is misleading. Only three restaurants were available, and if you wanted steak, Italian, or authentic Mexican, you had to go to their sister resorts—and pay extra. The concierge was unhelpful and kept pushing us to visit the non-adults-only properties, defeating the purpose of booking here.
There was no music, no energy, and barely any activities included. Premium liquor, coffee shop, mixology and cooking classes—all cost extra. We’re used to Riviera Maya, where all-inclusive truly means all-inclusive.
We were promised a $90 credit from Expedia, but it wasn’t properly applied, and we ended up being charged instead.
Lastly, the shared shuttle was awful—six stops, nearly two hours on rough roads. If you still choose this resort, book a private transfer. Overall, not worth the price.
