“It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the moment my husband and I walked through the doors we were instantly impressed with the cozy, warm feel of this unique property. Old Style charm, well kept, clean, each room has its own personality. “This was a GREAT option for Lassen Volcanic National Park. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy with a nice mini-fridge and microwave. The restaurant across the street (same company) was excellent with some great sunset views from the large windows. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.”

“Very nice hostel. Rooms are comfortable and it takes about 1 hour to arrive to Yosemite village, in the center of the park. Continental breakfast is good, but the dining room/office is a bit small, so you have to share the table with the other guests. I would suggest to move the corner with the food to a bigger part of the room, to avoid confusion and waiting times.”

“I loved my stay at the VF hotel. There was a mix up when i arrived, but it was quickly fixed with a short call to the owners from the gal working there in the restaurant (who was extremely friendly and helpful).
