posizione magnifica

Moderno e grande Hotel che si trova nella punta della zona Hotelera di Cancun. La posiaiozne è eccellente per raggiungere a piedi ed in autonomia tutti i maggiori locali e divertimenti dalla zona. L'Hotel è molto grande, ben organizzato e ben pulito. Se posso muovere un appunto solo relativo al numero di ascensori che non mi sono sembrati adeguati al numero di ospiti. camera confortevole e grande, letto comodissimo.

We arrived at 7 AM, completely exhausted after a long trip to a staff with no kindness, just cold, rude staff who clearly didn’t care. There was no AC in the lobby, so we were left sitting in the heat for hours. It was miserable. When we finally got into our room, the bathroom was dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the place was just unacceptable. We had booked all-inclusive, yet somehow still had to pay extra to eat. Every time we tried to question it, the staff brushed us off with attitude and zero accountability. At the bar, we saw something absolutely disgusting — the bartender dipped his hand into the shaker to taste the drink before serving it. Seriously? Completely unsanitary and gross. After just a few hours, we decided this place wasn’t worth it and asked to leave early and get a refund — they flat-out refused. No understanding, no effort to make it right, just more rude behavior. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. No AC, dirty bathrooms, unhygienic practices, and dishonest service. Don’t waste your money — avoid this place at all costs.

My fiancée and I had an amazing experience, from the moment we checked in even though we were a little early they offered us a room right away and once settled the staff gave us a tour of the property. The resort had all the things we needed from beautiful views, pools, beach access, and plenty of drinks & dining options. All the staff was nice, helpful and always making sure we were well taken care of. A special thanks to Sinai and Alex, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible. Sinai was great with setting up dinner reservations and activities for my fiancée and me. The resort exceeded all of our expectations and we can't wait to return. Thank you staff!

This was our second visit to Cancun, and Krystal Grand was a letdown compared to our first stay at a Dreams resort. The location is great—right in the Hotel Zone and walkable to shops. The beach was nice and calm with some seaweed, but still swimmable most days. The hotel feels outdated. Our room had a strange smell, and elevators were slow, hot, and poorly ventilated. Only one of four seemed updated. Check-in was quick but impersonal—no tour or warm welcome unless you’re a vacation club member. Dining was average. As a family that doesn’t eat pork, we found few options. Poolside portions were small, and room service had a $9 USD fee per delivery. Bars were understaffed, especially at the pool, and the mini bar in our room was never restocked during our 8-night stay. Entertainment was minimal—besides a pool workout and a 4th of July event, there wasn’t much offered. Most energy came when they were filming promotional content. Communication was poor—pool and restaurant closures weren’t announced in advance or when they were announced the timeline wasn’t met and created the pool to be open later then stated and angry guests. Overall, we wouldn’t return. If this had been our first Cancun trip, we likely wouldn’t have come back. If you’re looking for a quiet, no-frills stay it might work, but if you expect good service and entertainment, look elsewhere.

This place was pretty good for the price. I have stayed at the RIU before and the food was WAY better there. This hotel has a really nice beach. The upsell of crap when you are trying to check in is super annoying. The food is passable but not excellent.

No lo recomiendo en lo absoluto

El hotel esta muy descuidado, de los 4 elevadores que tiene solo servía uno y sonaba horrible. Era un caos subir y estábamos en el piso 14. El cuarto se veía muy descuidado también, las sillas estaban manchadas y las persianas estaban sucias y el baño olía a caño. No hay lugares suficientes donde sentarse / acostarse en la aberca; son muy pocos a comparación de la gente que esta hospedada. En la playa pasa lo mismo y peor aún tienen palapas y camas que cobran aparte y mínimo te piden una botella. De all inclusive no tiene nada, no pierdan su dinero. NO lo recomiendo en lo absoluto.

I was deceived by the review videos I watched. The only great thing about this property would be how beautiful the beach is! After a long flight, arriving to the hotel they only had two people checking in all the new visitors. Once you complete the check in, there are associates behind you ready to suck you in into a buying scheme. They say it’s just to give you a map of the facility but it ends up being that PLUS wanting to sell you a room for the new hotel next door. During my stay, there was only 2 elevators working. Mind you, there’s 14 floors at the Krystal Grand. I made it aware to a handful of employees and they stated someone was coming in the next day to fix it. I was there for 4 days and never was fixed. It is not air conditioned, so it is always hot in the elevators and in the main lobby. Trying to make reservations to the 3 restaurants they have was impossible. Had to get management involved and he made sure I had reservation for one of them. The smell of sewage was unbearable when showering and in certain places in the main lobby. Once leaving, everyone who had rented a vehicle noticed there was paint splatter all over the vehicles. Employees were aware of it but didn’t act apologetic at all. They stated “ the hotel was not responsible for any damage as they allowed us to park there for free so it was not on them”. Even though, their workers were the ones painting on their hotel. I will never stay at any Krystal hotels ever again.Spend your money elsewhere!

The location is prime. At check-in very little information almost misleading and aggressive up-selling. Our bathroom had plumbing issues and smelled like a porter potty. Cleaning staff and maintenance workers were very pleasant and helpful. Food and restaurant staff were excellent as well. Over all we like enjoyed our stay, management needs to work out any and all issues.

First time stay

I was impressed with the hotel. Very modern, clean, and well kept. Right on the beach and walking distance to anything you will ever need. We went non-inclusive so there are some nice places to eat locally and stores to buy whatever supplies you may need.

Decent hotel, horrible staff

We elected to not do the all inclusive, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. I had no problem with the hotel itself. Its in a great location and the beach was great! Its an older hotel, but our room was clean with no signs of bugs. The bed wasn't awesome, but it was sufficient. It was also very quiet, and we were there over spring break. It was worth it to us to spend a bit more and get an ocean view balcony. You can't ask for a better view. My biggest complaint was the staff. This property also does a time share and everyone we interacted with was VERY aggressive. You can't get any help without being accosted. Every question we asked the front desk/concierge/doorman turned into a sales pitch. "Us- Where can we get a cab? Them-Where are you going, did you know you could go there for free if you listen to our presentation? Us- Can I get a price list for your spa? Them- Wouldn't you rather get services for free?" ALL THE TIME!!! And whatever you do, don't sit at the desk with their planner people! They act helpful in getting you tickets to excursions, trips, etc, buts its another ploy to get you to the time share. I wish we would have known to expect that level of aggressive sales tactics ALL OF THE TIME. By the end of our trip, I just walked through the lobby without making eye contact and ignored anyone trying to engage me. Without the staff, I would have rated the hotel much higher.

It was fun. It close to the bars. The beach is good. The staffs are good. The foods there was great. They have shushi and Italian.
