“Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.”

“Yes it was terrible. On arrival, they changed our room several times. There was no heating and no warm water. we complained to the management and was told we would get a refund but nothing was done. We didn't go the 2nd night and we still didn't get anything. Reported to expedia, was told they would look into it but it's been weeks now and no feedback. “Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return.”

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con.
