“The hotel has great direct access to the beach. The facilities are a perfect combination of modern and Spanish/Italian older style. Food is good although the menu could offer a bit more options. In terms of location, it is a great one if you don’t plan to be in the city but you still want to have a lunch or dinner in Santa Barbara and then go back to the hotel (15-20 mins by car). “The property was pretty. However it was not as expected. My husband also got food poisoning on the first day we arrived. Had in room dining and dinner at the Ollevilla, after that he ended up back in the room in the bathroom all night. It was our anniversary and it was a horrible experience.”

“We really loved our stay with one exception. A woodpecker would wake us up daily between 6am-6:30am pecking loudly on the outside of our suite (#58). We asked if anything could be done but there wasn’t and it was a common occurrence. We would love to go back if we can be sure we could sleep in.”
