“I have stayed in a lot of hotels as a retired travel agent. This hotel is near the top for a great place to stay. Very clean, all staff I was in contact with was pleasant. Room was very comfortable. I come up to Kitchener at least twice a year for family and would definitely stay here again. My only comment would be for better signage when entering the parking lot as I am sure I am not the only one who had to go into the Doubletree to find out how to get to the hotel.”

“Nicely renovated addition tower that we stayed in, for a King suite. Breakfast buffet was lovely, just would have been better if it was open later than 9:30am. Pool was great, very peaceful and plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. Overall a great stay! ”

“This is a wonderful historic hotel that has been beautifully modernized. Our room was spacious with inspired decor. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our stay at the Walper. The breakfast is no longer free, but it's very good. As was dinner at the hotel's TWH. Pricey, but what restaurant isn't these days?”
