“I loved the design, the staff (young, fun and very careful). The location per se is also fantastic, next to the XiHu; but I think the humidity is a real problem. They have put dehumidifiers everywhere but still, it smells a bad. Therefore, I think I have paid way too much for an hotel that has such a problem… that’s not good for your health. I stayed just 1 night.”

“I've stayed in many hotels around China and this was by far the best hotel I've stayed in... Usually we stay in cheaper hotels, but we've also stayed in a few more expensive ones. All in all, Hillview was awesome and made the rest of my family's stay in China a disappointment because the hotels in the other cities were nothing compared to this one.”

“The pictures on the sight make it seem a little nicer than it is. People are living in a lot of the rooms so we got given one of the double-decker bed apartments at the end of a corridor. The view was brilliant but the room was pretty grubby and dated. There was a couple of cockroaches but it's usual for the area. Overall it is definitely as good as what you pay for mainly because of its great location.”
