“This was a lovely place to stay after completing the Salkantay trek! The owners even stayed up late as our train was delayed. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and cozy - Would recommend to everyone! ”

“The place was a little more rundown than expected. My room served it's purpose but there's no AC or fan, a tv but no remote. the bathroom was locked & I had to get staff to unlock it & they seemed annoyed at me for it. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast but I left my room a few time & could not find it & the small lobby had it's lights off. Not a great stay but it was 1 night thankfully ”

“The staff were amazing. I had altitude sickness and one of the owners quickly provided me with water and cocoa tea. The owners have a baby there and it felt very family friendly. He was very cute. My room had a great comfortable bed and the shower was great. There is the sound of running water as it is by a river but i found it calming to sleep to. Amazing place, would stay here 10/10!”

“Hotel molto economico ma ottimo come punto di partenza per andare a Machu Picchu. La nota super positiva è la colazione casalinga, piccola ma curata, davvero gradita. Se invece dovessi trovare un difetto sarebbe relativo agli spifferi in camera. Le finestre sono quasi inesistenti, quindi fa decisamente freddo. ”

“The hotel is located at the top of the old town so is within the charming atmosphere of the Inca cobblestone alleyways and walls. It's a five walk to the main square and is quiet and serene. The hotel has a lovely rooftop patio from which you an see the ancient Inca sites and mountains. The staff was generous and courteous. Breakfast was ample (eggs prepared as you like them, breas, cheese, ham, fresh fruit salad). The rooms are tasteful but spare. Ask for a space heater or hair dryer if you...

“We had a wonderful stay at Lizz Hotel. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very responsive to our emails before and during our stay. We also truly appreciated the driver - Ivan, they arranged for our trip to the Salt Mines (Maras) and Terraces (Moray)—he was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.”
