“Hotel was very clean and the staff was great! Expressway is very loud in the rooms though, need windows to be more insulated. Also, the lights and a/c cut off after 10 minutes when there isn't movement in the room. This means when watching TV or sleeping the room will get warm in the summer.”

“The Microtel is my home away from home. I have been staying there, when I'm in town, for about five to six years. It's convenient, clean, centrally located, the staff is exceptional and the breakfast is good. I don't stay anywhere else.”

“My family and I had a huge, clean, one bedroom room that was perfect, except that the bathroom was in the room, so our kids had to walk through our room to use it. Breakfast was better than most other hotels we’ve been to, but the layout of the breakfast area is terrible, a very crowded and small area. The location is ok, the river is pretty cool, and there is halal food across the street that was very good. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.”

The staff were friendly, especially the restaurant staff at breakfast, who were welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was good, and the location was convenient. “Room was ok and clean but not too much the bath and it needs more maintenance! Looks very old Staff was ok, the girl at the reception sems to pick up a garbage bag with a dozen of bagels that fell down to the floor, I hope she took the bag to recycle them for herself and not for the customers! Unfortunately I could not record her and complain!”
