“I really enjoyed the building, the area and the room. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent and there were several others within walking distance. “Great, quality lodging compared to the other choices for the same price. The breakfast was fantastic! Pre-made pancakes, cheese omelette's, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, oatmeal. I saw people complain about the $7 parking fee in previous posts. Not sure if we will get charged or not. If so, it's not a big deal to us. We travel a lot and feel that the price paid was fair for the quality.”

“Loved this B&B. So homey and comfrotable. The owners went over and above to make sure we were comfrotable driving in, parking and having access since we had an very late arrival. A very large yummy breakfast was served each morning and we got to choose the time. Homemade pound cake and cookies are served each afternoon and a stocked mini fridge with soft drinks and waters are also included. They have a great front porch swing, coy pond and firepit. This is a quiet getaway and a great place...

The property, inside and out, was immaculately maintained, the rooms were spacious, the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating...and the breakfasts were amazing! We also loved how quiet and peaceful the area is. The home sits across from Emory and Henry's campus (that we had never heard of before our stay) that is historic, well maintained, and served as a great place for afternoon walks.
