Hotel a Coffeen

“Breakfast was plentiful, a lot of options to choose from, and inviting. Coffee was passable with the addiction of chocolate milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The king size bed is a larger version, but the pillows were of unusual variety - I didn't find one that was good for me. They were large, some particularly heavy, and dense. We had a clean room and bathroom. It was easy to park.”

“Although upon arrival, we were quite put off by the exterior condition and appearance of this old Quality Inn, once in our room, most everything seemed updated and clean. The beds and bedding were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the shower worked well. The heater was suitably quiet too. The TV was like any other motel TV's. Like the "by Wyndham" franchises, in this case..a "Choice Hotels" franchise buys up old hotel chains and specializes in giving renovation advantages to...

“We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was no one available at the front desk, no way to check in, and no communication whatsoever from the property. We were completely exhausted and left stranded in the middle of the night with a valid...

“The town and the inn were beautiful! We had dinner at the tavern connected to the inn. Then we walked to The Creamery (delicious). The room was very nicely done and had little extras (popcorn and candy from a local business). The whole place seemed like a Hallmark movie inn. Definitely stay there again!”

“Room was clean and spacious. Computer and printer available in lobby. Gym and pool. Matresses were pretty firm. But otherwise safe area and lots of food options. Right off the highway.”

“No heat. Was very cold at night. TV wasn’t working (frayed cord) so they moved me. Shower head held up by saran wrap. Lots of dust & spiderwebs. Get what ya’paid dor”

“Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Toilet was loose. Reported it friday AM. Monday AM when we left……still nothing. Could have been a hazard. The hottub/spa inoperable. Never fixed. There’s NO maintenance workers?? Inexcusable. And there’s a Holiday Inn Express right across the street. ”
