“The first room smelled heavily of cleaning chemicals. After being moved, the second room smelled like ramen, and the hallway smelled of marijuana. The hotel also advertises a bar and food service on its website, but neither was operating — only breakfast was available. The stay was disappointing and did not match what was advertised. On the plus side, I’ve stayed in worse hotels.”

“The Archer was a very clean and nice hotel my wife and I stayed there for the weekend for a getaway just something to do the employees were very nice as well I recommend if you’re in the northern Virginia area stay there”

“No hot water to shower after flying 17 hours. Called front desk to inform that there was no hot water. They said that they were having issues with the boiler. Was eventually fixed for showering the next morning. Also bathroom had only 2 towels . Not up to Marriott standards ”

“For the price, it’s not bad given that this is in the Tyson’s area. Comfortable bed and pillows. We ran out of hot water after one shower, sadly. ”

“After having a less than ideal stay at a different Global Luxury/Churchill location, I read the reviews for this building and decided to give them an opportunity to leave a better impression. One of the existing reviews shares of a broken bed, I may’ve gotten the same unit they stayed in, as my bed was broken as well (the bed frame, specifically). The bed sank into the middle of the broken frame. Advertised parking for (temporary) guests in this building is a three minute drive/ten minute walk...
