Shards of broken glass were scattered around on the floor, shower cubicle was very slippery as had not been properly cleaned beyond a cursory wipe-over. Somehow the front desk staff were critical of US for not notifying them earlier - not a very friendly or empathetic response.”

“We loved our stay at the tiny house! it was clean and cosey, I thought it was a lovely welcoming touch to have the radio on as we entered the house. Because of the bad weather (always happens to us, when we go away it rains) we were glad of the covered deck outside. We had a cheeky possum visit on the Friday night, we loved that, the lush rain forest foliage made us think we were alone and couldn't really see neighbours. “There is no staff on location, so if anything goes wrong, you get a sorry via text. The main phone number is disconnected. You can't actually reply to the text that they send you the information from. Personally I'd give it a wide birth.”

“Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding.
