“Due to traffic issues we arrived at 4 pm and the pub was closed and all doors were locked until 6pm, we had to visit a nearby pub (The Bat And Ball) for a meal until Ye Olde George Inn opened up for us to check in, apart from that we enjoyed our stay ”

“We had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive.”

“Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. ”
