“We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! “Pleasant enough stay. Room was well sized worh a window that opened. Both bedroom and bathroom were clean. Car parking is free which is rare for hotels in the area. Its also in a rural area so quiet which was perfect. Tea and coffe is a kettle, no coffee machine but this is stated on the he hotel details. “Overall the property needs updating, it was very clean when you consider that it does need a lot of work doing to fetch it up to a good standard. However good value for money and comfy beds.”

I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress.”

“Internet was good and staff very pleasant. They made me porridge & asked how I'd like it made & gave me gluten free bread toasted as requested. I was in a room directly over the bar area so was a bit noisy but was all quiet by 11pm so was able to get a good sleep. Lovely room!”
