Property was as listed. It was very clean and Eileen was very helpful. Kitchen was very nice. The massage chair was an unexpected pleasure. The shuttle to and from the pool was very convenient.

Very nice comfortable condo! Great location and an easy drive to stores, restaurants, etc. We walked to the beach via the Sturgeon Rd beach access. There is also public parking at that access and the lot was never completely full. We enjoyed watching others play pickleball in the morning while drinking coffee on the deck. The sound side pool is temporarily closed. Check out the sound side pier near the pool and watch the osprey feed their babies in the evening. You might also catch a very nice sunset. Kitchen is very well equipped. Communication with host was superb! Corolla Light is full of amenities and you will enjoy your stay.

Once the owner left (4 1/2 hours) after our check in time, we began to settle in. She had been in the property most of the previous week, knew we were checking in that day, asked to meet us if we got in before she left & seemed to be spinning trying to clean, hang blinds, etc. We met her early as requested & informed her we would be back at 4 PM. While she had moved most of her things to the porch, she stayed around until 8:30 PM. After that we had a wonderful week & would rent again, if she can have it cleaned & be gone by check-in time. A nice person but clearly overwhelmed that day.

Russwell 2024

This is our third time staying at this condo. We love the central location to historic corolla village and Tim Buck II and Food Lion as well as its proximity to the fitness center. Eileen, our host, host is always responsive if we have a question. The condo is very spacious and lives up to its name as the comfort zone.

Fabulous

Had an incredible stay. Eilene was so easy to talk with and very caring down to the smallest details. There was a small issue thru no fault of her own but she took such care and initiative and handled it quickly and communicatively! Hoping to come back again very soon. Also the walk to the beach was easy, the beach area itself was stunning and we loved the amenities that came with our stay. My kids and I loved our time here very much! Thank you for such a warm hospitable stay!

Quiet & good for a small family

Nice place. Convenient location.

Condo is well kept and spacious. Had all of the things we needed and then some. Nice outdoor deck. Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to the beach and also a short drive to take the 4x4 beach access road to go look for the wild horses.

Perfect location

Condo was very clean upon arrival. It was also very close to restaurants. We were able to watch Pickle Ball games as the deck faces the courts. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful week

The condo was beautiful, and very much as presented on the VERBO listing. Had a few minor issues crop up which Eilene was very gracious in handling in a very timely manner. Only negative was the young family in the unit above us. With three young children, the inevitable sounds of running feet got to be a little much at times, but that is not something that can be controlled. We would definitely consider renting with Eilene again.

Excellent accommodations!! It was like a home away from home! Nice big kitchen! Eilene had all the necessities and more. She was easy to work with, provided great tips and recommendations that I asked for and more!!! We had a blast! We would highly recommend Eilene’s place! There is a complimentary trolley that takes you to the beach and pools! My daughter loved all the movies! My husband and daughter enjoyed her massage chair, especially after the long trip!! We will definitely be back again! It was our 1st time to the outer banks and this area was nice because it was less built up than other areas of the outer banks! Thanks again Eilene!!! Suzi R

2 weeks at Corolla

This summer was our second time as guests at this property. The owner was accessible and responsive if we had questions. She provided a good deal of information about the area and activities during our stay. The condo was clean, conveniently located and in all respects as advertised. We have already reserved our two weeks for next summer.

Wonderful stay! Great host! Pet friendly!

We just got back from Corolla and had an amazing stay. We drove a long way from CT and the massage chair was perfect start to the vacation. Eilene was very responsive and sent very detailed information about the property and surrounding area before our stay. The condo was situated right near the Sports Center, close to the Soundview pool, and had pickle ball courts right off the back porch that my kids enjoyed. The beach was a few blocks walk through a path behind the condo complex. And the best part is you can bring your dog on the beach! Eilene also has a very large dog crate and dog bowls in the condo which was helpful. There is a trolley to take you to the larger pool along the beach. Down the road a short drive is the Corolla 4x4 beach with wild horses, the lighthouse, and a beautiful park with a wildlife center. If you have a 4WD vehicle, definitely drive the beach - there is no charge. We did ok with our AWD SUV by turning off traction control, but with any vehicle make sure you take the air out of your tires to 20 Psi at the free air down and air up stations, drive slow (15 mph), and don’t park on the beach or you can get fined. We were lucky and saw about 8 horses about a mile down the beach. For food the kitchen is stocked with stuff to prepare food, but definitely go to Duck Donuts for the kids (order online to avoid an hour wait), get a seafood boil from Outer Banks Boil Company, and check out Mama Easley’s and Uncle Ike’s - all were family friendly. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to OBX.

Ideal location if you’re looking for quiet. However, places to visit were just a short drive away.

Clean and comfortable

This home was exactly as described. When choosing a vacation home my number one criteria is cleanliness and this home was. Convenient location with many activities for all. We enjoyed breakfast on the back porch watching a daily pickle match. The massage chair was an added bonus. If I didn’t enjoy the beach so much I never would have left the condo!
