“We were a couple breaking a long drive overnight in Stamford. Cost, registration and checkout were easily accomplished. The Stamford Diner on the property had excellent food. That was a plus. Worst feature was two small sets of steps to gain access to the elevators. Difficult to negotiate with luggage and when you are elderly. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

“The pictures online really don't do this place justice. The atrium had almost a Caribbean vibe with lush plants and bright sunlight. There is ample seating so you can always find a spot that feels quiet to sip a cappuccino from the cafe or a glass of wine from the bar. The receptionists could look and act less miserable but the rest of the hotel staff is welcoming and attentive. The room facing the atrium is well worth it. Just don't get dressed with only the sheer curtains closed at night...

“I always enjoy stopping at the Saybrook Inn and Spa. The front desk gentleman were very nice and welcomed me back. We arrived almost at restaurant closing time and our server was accommodating and kind. The hotel is pet friendly and the breakfast wait staff were great. Look forward to our next visit.”
