“We had a wonderful stay at Comfort Flames! We stayed for 10 days while visiting family in Whangarei and it was the perfect oasis. The convenience of the room service was unmatched, especially as I am pregnant and have to eat first thing in the morning to not get sick. Raewyn was so hospitable and kind, as were the rest of the staff. The view from our room was beautiful and the aircon made it so comfortable at all times of day. We will definitely stay here in the future and would highly recommend...

“We got in to Whangarei late, and after a little bit of a challenge trying to find the entrance, we found the front desk. From there our experience was great. The staff were welcoming, talked to us about the parking, and chatted to us about where to find some great restaurants (within easy walking distance). “We had the most lovely holiday here for my husbands 50th birthday. The swimming at the beach is perfect and very safe and the sand is lovely to walk on, compared to nearby places where it is rocky and not suitable for barefeet. The bed was comfortable and we loved the ceiling fan, so good on a hot night. Everything was as described and it was really hard to leave (even the dog was whining when we packed up to go home!) We hope to visit again if you will have us!”
