“The fridge in the room was noisy. There was no complimentary tea or hair conditioner in the room. The continental breakfast was lacking in terms of what I'd expect. No variety of bagels just plain, no oatmeal or fresh fruit or hard boiled eggs available. The cereal dispenser was empty. Delivery service for take out had only one option, Italian food. We were booked for two days but checked out early. They said they would refund us for the day we didn't use but then never did give us a refund. ...

“This hotel has seen better days. It is undergoing some renovations....Our room had no cover on electrical outlet, fridge froze everything in less than 12 hours, cigarette burns on all furniture and tub, chair was so bad with stains, tears and cig burns, we were afraid to sit on it. I guess you get what you pay for....the room rate was great!!!”

“The room was great. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. I wish I had more time to use the fitness center because it was waaaaay better than one might find in other hotels. Of course, the hotel is in the heart of Boone.”

“This was a sirprise gem. It's in quite a busy area, with a number of stores and restaurants close by, and near 81, but going up to the motel is like going into another world. It's a lovely pastoral scene with a view of the distant mountains, and so quiet! In the next room was an occasionally screaming toddler but I wouldn't have known if his mother hadn't told me. I couldn't hear a thing. The room itself was basic but comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again.”

“First of all the picture of the facility is NOTHING like the check-in area or any other place in the building. I was disappointed with the accommodations...they were marginally adequate. The desk staff was helpful and courteous which was a big plus.”

“The first room we were given had a broken TV. The second room had a broken sink drain, shower drain andbthe TV had pixel lines running vertically every 1 inch. Internet speed was slow and TV only had about 4 channels. Thankfully i brought a HDMI so I could share my phone screen. One male staff member was very cordial but the rest were lazy, worthless and did not understand English well. I refilled the coffee and hot water urns both mornings at the sub par breakfast.
