“There was no phone in my room, the iron was broken and the handle on my toilet was broken.”

“Tacky experience. Peeling paint, torn chair upholstery, no tub drain plug and sink drain plug didn't operate. No bottled water, no snacks available, no pop machine. 1/2 roll of tp in the bathroom. There's more, but you get the picture.”

“Hotel rooms was dated, beds wasn’t comfortable, breakfast is only 7am - 9am and it’s very limited. In addition and the area was sketchy. It was interesting night activity at this hotel. What I can say positive was that the front desk staff was nice and the room was clean. It had an Oder when we arrived but we quickly got the smell out of our room with an air freshener. I wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Room was very smelly and most of the lights didn’t work. The breakfast was terrible. Didn’t use pool so not sure about that”

“Awfully bad experience. My family and I were doing a roadtrip so we needed a place for the night. We booked two rooms and both had very dirty floors, especially the bathrooms ones with a lot of hair on them. Bed sheets lacked and the beds had some stains on them. Wi-fi didn't work. Outside the rooms there was a terrible smell of pee. We went to the front desk reporting these problems and luckily the ladies changed our rooms, which were both with clean bed sheets and cleaner bathrooms but still...

“Staying at The Bay Inn was the best traveling experience I’ve had this year. The room was perfect. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The location can’t be any better if you’re a beach lover. I look forward to staying again should I ever return to Norfolk.”

“The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!”

“Breakfast can be much better, wasn’t interested in their choices. Also we had no room cleaning or fresh towels/wash clothes were not offered. Fit over 1000$ for 2 nights you would expect a better breakfast and at least have a room attendant. King room was small, bed was ok not all that comfortable. For the most part room and bathroom was clean.”

“The staff was amazing. Over all the hotel was very close to everything but half the price. Overall will be staying again next time we go down.”
