This ground/first floor apartment situated in the heart of downtown is minutes from Averett Univ., Sovah Health, the Museum of Fine Arts and the forthcoming Caesar's Casino.

The space
This listing is the downstairs unit of a duplex located in downtown Danville, literally minutes from SOVAH, Averett, Crema & Vine and loads more. There is a living room with a SMART TV, a dining room perfect for enjoying meals or working remotely, a basic but fully furnished kitchen, one Jack & Jill style bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms.

Please note, this is a licensed and legal STR (#910246) approved to operate in the city of Danville. Please do not jeopardize your visit by staying in an unlicensed and hence illegal STR!

Guest access
Street parking is free and plentiful. You do not need a decal to park on the street. We recommend bringing a car as Uber and Lyft are not currently as popular in Danville as we would like. :/

As mentioned previously, this listing is downtown and you can walk - weather permitting - to a number of local attractions, as well as SOVAH and the new casino when that arrives in 2023.

Other things to note
Please note that there is currently another STR in the unit above you. You may hear and see them coming and going from time to time. The upstairs tenants are aware that this listing is a STR and will be friendly and accommodating should you need any help but will leave you in-peace the rest of the time.

Please note we have a security camera on the property covering the front door. We have it for security purposes only and do not actively monitor it while the property is booked.

The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before.

Great accommodation at a low impact to your wallet

Had a work trip to Danville and found this property at a huge discount compared to hotels. Property was clean with great accommodations. The only downside is that nothing is within walking distance (restaurants/bars), it is a short drive to the downtown area though. The listing is correct that Uber/Lyft are non-existent, so a car is certainly a necessity. Overall, it worked for what we needed, if I happen to travel back to Danville for work, I will certainly rent here again.

problems

front door blind broken ,you could see in unit,peeling paint in bathroom,no vent fan in bathroom.,woke up at daylight sat morning with street full of people and cops .car windows had been broken out items stolen garages broken into. will not be staying here again.the whole street had criminal activity,not a place i need to be

Super clean and well appointed property

We loved staying here. Upon arriving, we were able to park easily and use our key code to enter. The home is beautifully decorated with nice artwork and comfy furnishings. All bedding and linens were fresh smelling and clean. The kitchen is well stocked if you will be cooking, or even if you just want your morning coffee. The neighborhood is amazingly quiet, even on a Saturday night. The property is very convenient to all major roads in and out of Danville. All in all, a great stay!
