Ohana - Your dollhouse on the beach!

Ohana is a gorgeous 3/2 on the bay. The property is incredibly fresh and updated. You can enjoy unobstructed views of the bay and terrific views of the gulf. The house has a great layout with the kitchen dining and living room all enjoying a 2-story wall and bay view. The second-floor master also enjoys a bay view. The home includes a loft with a day bed and an entertainment center. The outside living is very nice with hammocks to enjoy the breeze below. Access to the water is extremely convenient and there is ample parking provided.

Gulf Beach access is 0.35 miles from the end of your driveway!

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit - $100 pet fee per dog applies.
10. Cargo lifts are not available to guests and can not be used. They are not permitted by Home Owner Insurance Policies.

Great location

House was great! We stayed here for a birthday trip for our little ones. Being so close to the beach and the bay was awesome. Plenty of area in the back to play outdoor games (bring bug spray) and right on the bay. The only down side was having to do a deep clean when we arrived. The floors left our feet black right upon arrival. The property company paid us back for the cleaning supplies purchased and the rest of the trip was great. Will definitely be looking to come back!

We enjoyed our stay. There were 2 grills that were so dirty, no one would use them. The floors needed some boards replaced. Beautiful sunsets every night. Fun backyard. The house was nice just needed a little attention in updating some areas. Beach is across the street, easy walk and very nice beaches.

Disrepair

Not impressed with the cleanliness of the home. Had to wash all dishes and kitchen as we got them out to use. Many smoke detectors had beeping batteries. Handyman came for some of them but others were still beeping. Back door does not close completely and we were told directly that it may have water come in in a couple of places if it rained. MANY large soft spots I. The floor that felt dangerous. We were assured they were supported from underneath, but was uncomfortable me to walk on them and feel safe. . There was visible water damage on ceilings. VERY limited hot water for as many people as it occupies. Had to time and stagger showers to avoid cold showers. Nice location. Easy access to gulf side. Bay was nice. Bay beach is fairly small but was enjoyable enough.

Relaxing week

The house was nice. It was accurately described. The kitchen had anything we needed. Mattresses probably need to be replaced and it would be nice if there were hangers in the closets. The beach was gorgeous and it was a very relaxing vacation.

Family vacation

Plumbing issues created a leak into the downstairs bedroom. They fixed the issue but left the mess it made for us to clean up. Overall the house was not that clean. Decking was in poor condition with nails sticking out and pickets missing from the railing around the deck.

Great location, home not clean

We had a great trip overall and the location of the house is very nice. Liked that it was away from everything. The cleanliness of the property was a BIG issues. We had to wash all the dishes, pots and pans before we could use them. They were put away dirty with food particles left on almost everything in the cabinets. The whole house needed to be vacuumed, lots of sand which I know can be very difficult to clean up, I could deal with that but when we found finger nail clipping in the downstairs bedrooms that was terrible. I tried to communicate with the property manager with the number they gave to text issues too, but got no response.

The perfect house

The house was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The concrete porch underneath made relaxing and beach clean-up so convenient along with how handy it was with the dogs not being in sand while cleaning sand off of them. Only slight negative is the deck needed a few repairs to make it better toddler and dog safe in some spots.

Tranquility and Peace

The house is lovely with beautiful views. A couple minor maintenance issues, dripping kitchen faucet and not all dryer setting work. Also, dishes and utensils needed to be rewashed before using.

Relaxation

We stay the month of February on the Island and have for several years. Most times on the beach if the children/grandchildren can come. First time on the Bay Side, this time, and it was most relaxing and we loved the new experience. We highly recommend this property.

O'Hana experience

The house was clean, kitchen stocked well, and beds were comfortable. Loved the wrap around deck! Out of the owners control but mosquitoes were horrible the last couple days of our stay.
