“The kitchen was handy. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The fridge ran on an extension cord (safety concern) Pleasant desk service. Good location Bargain price compared to other area motels. I would choose to not stay here again.”

“One of the 2 beds in our room was extremely squeaky. Heard this same complaint when at the front desk. They were receptive to the man who complained by giving him a room discount; however, despite our identical issues being voiced back to back, we were not offered any discount.”

“A traditional motel probably built in the 1960s. It is in a great location close to restaurants, close to the marina and waterfront and only 7 km to the airport. Everything was fine. Good value for the money.”

“Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and...

“It's an older building for the motel rooms, however there has been an upgrade at some point to modernize the bathroom and beds. Room was "clean" but the remaining carpet section in our room at least, had "dirty smudges" in the main traffic area, likely from work boots from past occupants, and it doesn't vacuum out. Thought the room might be noisy from highway traffic, but actually it wasn't an issue. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and had a good night's sleep.”

“Homeless person outside the swimming pool. People smoking in the room next door so we had that wafting in through our window, then they started the music right about 11:00. Finally convinced the front desk to let us move rooms. Not the management’s fault but still a bad experience. The place is looking a bit seedy.”
