This property is located in a fairly secluded neighborhood and a very peaceful setting. Lisa, the host was a pure joy to talk to, and accommodated our every need. The cabin/apartment was very immaculate in terms of cleanliness, and decorated in a comforting manner with lots of local art adorning the walls. We were very comfortable there, and there were a few good places to eat within a few miles, and the cabin is located about 10 miles from the Denali Park entrance. We would stay there again in a heartbeat if we could get back in.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Denali NP. The location provided easy access to the area, and the apartment was lovely- nicer than the pictures showed - with beautiful art and homey touches. For those wanting to cook meals, the kitchen provided all you would need including spices, and lots of cooking items not usually found in a VRBO. We would recommend this to anyone looking to avoid the crowded lodge experience.

Lisa was a wonderful host. Her place is very comfortable and exceptionally clean! It was well stocked and we truly appreciated all the little 'touches' of Alaska in the property such as the assorted artwork and literature. It was the perfect, peaceful base for our Denali adventure!

Host has an eye for detail and has thought about every small comfort. Views are fantastic. You can feel how special this place is with Lisa's personal touches, and extraordinary artwork all over the house. We loved staying here.

Most relaxing spot on our vacation! This cabin had everything we needed to relax and regroup after a lot of traveling. Loved the sourdough pancakes! I highly recommend this spot if you are planning to visit Denali national Park!

The rooms were great, and nice gifts as we entered. There were four of us. Our friends got the bedroom and we got the sofa couch. We hardly slept that night as the couch sank in terribly. It would possibly be ok if we were kids, but adults probably need to know ahead of time. If we went with our kids and not adult friends, it would have been more suitable. It was also on second floor and we had a lot of luggage, so we took pieces out to take up with us. It is very close to Danali and we loved that part about it. Also the windows open to the woods and we got a nice breeze that night.

There is a reason that the reviews here are so positive. The location can’t be beat, the unit is beautiful, well stocked with thoughtful items, and did we mention the amazing view? We have stayed in MANY rental units and this is definitely one of our favorites!

This was the perfect place for our family of four. The owner was very kind and helped with any questions we had about the area. It was hands down the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in in years- or maybe ever. We enjoyed that it was tucked back in a private setting, and gave us more room than a hotel or tiny cabin. Check out McKinley Creekside for breakfast, lunch, dinner and souvenirs. Highly recommend this property.

The BEST!

We loved everything about this VRBO, especially its location, setting, size and amenities. Very comfy furniture and stocked kitchen. Lisa is so nice and has the cutest dogs. We loved the quietness and gorgeous views out the windows. 15 minutes to the national park!! We couldnt have asked for a better place. Youll love it too!!!

Memorable Stay

My family of 4 adults stayed in house for 3 nights. It has open floor plan and family room view was spectacular. Location was convenient it just10 min drive to Denali bus depot. A cozy and well maintained house. Lisa was a great host. Definitely, one of the few top houses we have rented so far..

Exquisite Home

We stayed at Alaskan Elegance during our visit to Denali National Park and this place hosted by Lisa is a little piece of heaven. Nestled in the beautiful Alaskan wilderness but this is close to the National Park and all Attractions. The host is amazing and an absolute inspiration whose passion for gardening, interior design, story telling and her love of dogs. Her life story is depicted in her art collection and books she wrote. A true blissful hide away from the busy city life. I would absolutely love to visit this place again. Thank you Lisa for hosting us. We cherished our time there.
