“The room was clean, and staff was helpful. I found it strange that the front desk had restrictions on the TVs volume. Remote would not work or couldn’t be adjusted without their assistance. The coffee maker in the room and refrigerator did not work properly. The refrigerator froze everything, when adjusted it was either to warm or way to cold. The air conditioner was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep. This was not somewhere I would stay again for longer than a night, our 3 day stay was...

“I was booked for 4 nights was only able to stay 2. The ac leaked on to my clothes and new purchases. The maintenance came opened the ac it had black mold everywhere. My lungs closed up they had to move us to a different hotel. My nephew had ant bites from the extra bed he slept in. It was 11:30 at night when the maintenance was still working on the problem. We didn’t get settled in till after midnight at the second hotel. So disappointed.”

“We have always been able to depend upon Hampton Inns for excellence...until now! The property is rundown; needed paint; carpet was filthy and left our feet and shoes black on the bottoms; sheets did not fit the bed; breakfasts were not up to what we had come to expect based upon other Hampton Inns; corners of room and bath were dirty. Someone had knocked a hole in the closet door which had been very poorly repaired and left unpainted. We were very disappointed in this hotel in Lubbock, TX.”
