“The room was not suitable but we were promptly swapped to a better room and the rest of our stay was great. I would suggest before staying in room 405 ensure the curtains have been replaced and the carpets aren't dusty.
Host was friendly and accommodating. Due to the prompt swap and pverall value I would give it 5 stars.”

“This property is getting older but that was not important. It is kept very clean with a comfortable bed and good space for working, eating and relaxing. It also has all the essentials for simple meal prep in a very convenient location, with an easy walk to supermarket, banks, good food and cafes, pharmacy etc. Free parking was always available. And all people involved there were friendly, helpful and responsive. I'll be staying there again”

“Large, clean, spacious rooms. Was great to have cooking facilities in the room, local shops less than a 5 minute walk away. Easy walk into SwinBurne University for the course. Catch the train from Skybus to Glenferrie Road Hawthorn (easier than tram).
As I stayed longer for a week, had a lovely welcome present of snacks and room serviced. Would definitely recommmed. ”

“Rooms were spotless, and comfy. Fridge, kettle and tea selection was unexpected. Food at the bar was delicious. No noise despite being attached to a public bar. Car parking available at rear - though we opted for the 1P parking out front, knowing we would be gone by 10am the next day. This was an ideal stopover with grandparent and children.”

“This was our second stay at Jo’s place and really enjoyed the apartment and beautiful gardens where we could safely walk our dogs. The area was secure and safe too. Only thing is that there is no WiFi which would have been handy to watch our own Netflix shows.”

“The property was OK and served it's purpose....I hardly used it. I booked a 3 x week stay last minute....it would have lain empty but for my booking. At the end of the stay they tried to extract money for cleaning which was entirely spurious. I have a 5 Star rating on Home Exchange from more than 20 stays....I always leave a place better than I find it.
