“Our recent stay at the Guesthouse was very comfortable, loved the lounge with the gas log fire for winter. The books were a great idea too. Loved the character of the property and our view of the lighthouse. The shops were very close by too so great for breakfast etc. Just two things we thought the room needed was a split system as the current heater took too long to heat the room. Also some type of shelf in the ensuite for our toiletries.”

“I spent 3 nights in Sea Views, Queenscliff recently. What a charming place to stay. It was very clean, cosy and quirky. The bed was comfortable and there was a television in the bedroom. I was warm without lighting the fire (which was ready to put a match too). There were lots of windows and views to the water from the window seat in the lounge. “The property was chosen as a site for an informal work retreat for 18 people and worked wonderfully well. The comparatively small group were able to have a room each with sufficient bathrooms. The open areas worked well for the meetings and discussions and the kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. Everything was clean and tidy and we were introduced to the property by the attentive property manager who checked to see how things were going.”

“Although a beautiful building from the outside, the Guest House is looking a bit tired on the inside. We never saw a single person neither hotel staff nor another guest during our stay, which made for a rather strange experience. The room was small but reasonably comfortable, the bathroom was a good size. Wifi ok, but not many power points in the room. Queenscliff itself is a gorgeous old-style Australian town with some interesting shops and beautiful buildings.”
