“This was a beautiful property in an amazing location. Our family had a wonderful time and definitely would come back again!”

“Had a lot of amenities and was good in that regard for the price but it was a bit dirty/musty and needed to be aired out.”

“Beautiful home, very clean and lots of room. You can walk everywhere! So convenient. Bemus Point is a great place to vacation. Highly recommend.”

“We had an amazing time! The house is clean and comfy. The host was responsive and helpful. No issues. Backyard is wonderful for fires and cooking out. Such a close walk to the shops and lake! Will stay again.”

“This vacation home offers numerous delights! The first is the colorful mid-century modern decor, with a musical theme. Guitars decorate the walls and recorded music of all kinds is available. The next surprises are atop the spiral staircase, where floor-to-ceiling windows expand the spacious bedroom and open up the view from the generous soaker tub. After enjoying the shops and restaurants of nearby Bemus Point, watching the moon set over the fields and trees is a perfect end to the day.”

“This VRBO is a mix of good and not so great. It feels mostly clean and the host, Aimee, is very communicative and super friendly. Even better, the land around the house is fantastic. You can sit on the deck or in the backyard for hours and just watch the birds. The deck is sufficiently large, and there is a grill (which we didn’t use). There is no screen door from the deck to the kitchen, through the sliding glass door, so you can’t leave that door open if you decide to leave the AC off. The...

“Very cute, very clean, unique property. Owners were close and super friendly. We locked ourselves out (2nd door) and they were there in like 3 minutes. The property is a 2 minute walk from anywhere you’d want to go in the very small town. We loved the covered porch and huge bed! If I could say anything negative about the property and it’s tough. It would be that I’m 6’ 255 pounds and the bathroom is a little small for me. However they have multiple units in the completely renovated 115 year old...

“Our second stay here. Great location. Clean. Would stay here again.”

“Beautiful home, perfect for a kids. Location was short, easy drive downtown to Bemus Point restaurants and stores.”

“The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. We appreciated the concerns expressed by our host Dana with my mobility issues, but everything went well.”

“Emily’s place was in a perfect location and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved the porch. The grill was nice to use as well. A few things to keep in mind- there is no AC. Luckily, it wasn’t terribly hot when we stayed, and the fans did help. This is a large home that has a downstairs unit as well, which was empty when we were there. If you stay in the upstairs unit, there are stairs you must use to get into the unit, and a set of steps to get to the bedroom upstairs. We loved...

“Excellent facility and town (Bemus) with a touch of Norman Rockwell. Debra was the perfect host. It's my second time staying at 13 Merz. So close to the lake and shops. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“ Very nice. Clean and wonderful location ”

“We stayed here for 4 days in July. The place was really nice. My wife and I enjoy fishing Chautauqua and this being centrally located on the lake makes accessing the whole lake easy. Boat launch is only a mile away. Good restaurants nearby and you can get to any shopping around the lake within 15 minutes. The place had most anything you would need on hand. Only suggestion we have for the owner is putting some sort of blind in the bathroom window. Thanks for having us!”

“The house does boast a beautiful view of the lake, and while you don't actually see the sun hit the horizon at sunset (blocked by trees), sunsets can be pretty. The space was well appointed. We were the only guests this particular weekend, and it seemed the neighboring houses were vacant as well, so it was quite serene.”
