“The owner was very gracious and accommodating for our group in town for a gravel race. The atmosphere was excellent and while the location felt like a trip back in time it was clean and everything functioned as advertised. We will 100% be staying here again. ”

“Beautiful view! I needed a place inexpensive and close to family. This was perfect. I think the place may have been closed up for a while. Many spiderwebs and spiders I just took care of those myself. Very nice RV. Had a great time.”

“I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids. We walked the trail through the island, kayaked around it one day, and fished off the docks. The sunsets were...

“The property was very nice. The Lakeview was absolutely beautiful. This would be a wonderful place for a couple or two couples as there are two bedrooms with king beds. That was very nice. Also they have a very cool screen door that is magnetized and shuts on its own when you go in and out. Helps tremendously with the bugs. The hosts are very nice and very helpful. If you need anything at all they try to help you very promptly. Our time went by way too fast. Would definitely stay again. ”
