“Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough...

“We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road.
