“Good stay overall. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast included hot options which was very nice. My only complaint was the smell in the hallway, it was very unpleasant to exit the room. I believe it was due to other guests activities during the days I was there. Hopefully it isn’t like this all the time. Will stay here again on my next trip to Sylacauga. ”

“Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. Property is dated and maintenance is poor. Overall cleanliness was fair. Unfortunately we had an ant farm in our bathroom but the staff promptly addressed it. ”

“Traveling for wedding. Rachel was phenomenal! She was able to get us checked in and in our room with efficiency and a smile. Room was clean and super roomy. We had a room with king bed. Room had fridge and microwave. A little dated but clean and comfortable.”

“My daughter and I stayed at this adorable cottage for my sister’s birthday party in Sylacauga. The owners were easy to reach and eager to accommodate. The property was clean, easy to find, and on a very peaceful part of Lay Lake. We enjoyed our visit and recommend this rental property. ”

“The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the first room we were in smelled so musty that we had to ask for another room. They request was handled very quickly and without question. The second room smelled pleasing but it was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom floor was visibly dirty. I could tell things had been wiped because I could see the smeared film on everything. I did not feel good about the room because of the cleanliness. ”

“The house was recently renovated with all modern updates and conveniences. All beds and living spaces were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The home was stocked with lots of extras like coffees, clothes washing detergent and dryer sheets, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, plenty of toilet paper, dish washing detergent, just so many things! We were very comfortable during our extended stay in Clanton. ”

“Great location on lake, peaceful and quiet on the porch overlooking the lake. Nice boat dock and a community boat ramp 2 houses away. To quote Arnold "I'll be back. ”

“Relaxing we floated around in water done some fishing! Fishing wasn’t great due to time of year being very hot. Was told catfish is great to catch there but not much on catfish fishing lol! But we enjoyed our stay state park only couple miles away able to rent boats and find whatever you need for fishing swimming picnic very nice park! Would highly recommend. ”

“The property was just as described. It's a cozy place for a stay on the lake, our kids loved sleeping in the loft room! Nice and cool indoors, which is important during the summer months. We liked how well stocked it was, lots of items we packed that we didn't even need. It is located in an area that is great for learning to kayak, especially for young kids. I would certainly recommend this lake house. We had a wonderful stay and made some great memories with our children!”

“We were in town for a wedding and realized pretty quickly that there wasn’t much of a nightlife in the area. But the house very quickly accommodated our needs with a great fire pit that allowed us to reconnect with old friends. The pool table in the basement made pool tournaments a great way to spend our evenings. Loved everything about the property and would stay there again if I have the opportunity to. ”

“First of all, THANK YOU for creating this beautiful space.This is an absolutely fabulous and well maintained property, with all the bells and whistles. We, a group of longtime friends consisting of 4 couples were in AL to attend another friend couple's family reunion. From the minute we opened the door to the property, our jaws were on the floor. We immediately knew everything would be spectacular. From the beautiful furnishings to all the amenities, we definitely lived in luxury for the time...
