“If you are thinking to visit the outer banks, John Yancy is the place to be. It is emaculately clean, the staff is amazing, attends to your needs promptly. Breakfast area is clean and there is always someone to assist. The airconditioner is perfectly working and quiet.”

“The ocean view was literally that, a view of the ocean. You couldn't see the sand/beach at all because it was blocked by the sand dunes. Not what we paid for when we picked a room with an ocean view. The TV set up is outdated. No streaming ability at all. There was hair in the shower drain and flies kept getting into the room through the bathroom somehow. No idea. The door wasn't properly sealed and so the wind kept us up all night with a loud screeching noise. Overall, not the best and wouldn't...

“The view was amazing but I booked early to get a ground floor. There was alot of beach erosion and they moved us to a top floor. I asked if we could have the ground floor and they said no! Im handicapped so it was a problem! When the people came in Friday night and we were leaving Saturday morning they said no one asked them or they definitely would have switched with us!”

“Room was clean but food left over in the microwave tht had a horriable smell in room..i informed the front desk she just gave me spray and said someone had just checked out at 10 am..i doupt it cause they wud have smelled the rotten food..fridge didnt work..and toilet gurgled all not like it was backed up..deff find a better motel or place to stay..front desk could have cared less..”

“This was a wondeful property. I had never stayed in one of the boutique hotels but enjoyed the concept. The amenities in the game room were awesome! My small children enjoyed the complimentary popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. The continental breakfast selection was also fantastic. Very clean, centrally located, and easy to check in and out (despite an onsite attendant). We will be back!”

“We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again! ”
