“Everything was a great experience! Had all the supplies needed to help enjoy ourselves. Great hospitality & greeting of a happy birthday sign and card, super thoughtful!”

“The room was clean and very comfortable. While the breakfast was good, the only feedback would be on how the counter was set up. The most popular item - the waffle maker was located almost in a corner next to the juice machine and beside a coffee machine. It was VERY congested and resulted in some frustrated individuals. Perhaps that popular breakfast item could be located away from the rest of the items available.”

“What a wonderful surprise to find this hidden gem. From the moment we drove onto the property after dark and saw all the lights shining through the wall of glass, we knew we found someplace special. The rooms were large and pleasant, but above all, breakfast was outstanding. So many food options and in a large enough area to make selections, with plenty of room for seating. Great stay from start to finish!”

“The Hot Tube was excellent!!! The indoor pool I believe was heated and big. A little outside patio area that fenced off gives privacy. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit.”

“We had a nice stay at the Black Bear. Great location and Kim was very accommodating.”

“Clean”

“Resort was dark and dated. Air conditioning loud and beds and pillows uncomfortable. We were the only guests in the resort. No amenities The restaurant was more updated and bright but food was fair. No breakfast available. Golf course was in good condition and the starter was friendly and helpful. Will not be returning.”

“This was the cleanest, most well kept small mom and pop motel we’ve ever stayed at. Staff was super friendly, the room was exceptionally clean and refurbished! We will definitely stay here again!”

“Cozy and nostalgic! I had a wonderful stay and it was a perfect escape from NYC :) Staff was incredibly helpful and kind, would definitely recommend”

“What an amazing experience! The Inn is so charming! The place was absolutely spotless, breakfast bar was stocked perfectly, dinner both nights was fabulous and the staff was amazingly friendly! We cannot wait to book our next stay!”

“The lobby had loiterers the entire time. The lobby smelled of stale & fresh cigarette smoke. The loiterers were loud & sleep was not possible. The vending machine is unplugged. The shower head did not work. The breakfast item was 1/2 full loaf of bread & butter in a brown paper bag near a toaster. Overall extremely poorly run establishment.”

“Delicious breakfast and host was very knowledgeable about local things to do”

“enjoyed our stay. breakfast was nice.”

“Room was clean. Towels were soft. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff was helpful and kind. I’ll be back.”

“The house is beautiful and our room lovely . Will stay again”

“Booked for two nights, left after one. The room was fine- clean, no funky smells, clean bathroom newer mattresses and HVAC. As a solo female traveler, I just didn’t feel great about the location, lack of on-site staff, and door locks. A no-frills, roadside motel was not for me, but could be fine for you.”
