“I've stayed at the Colonial Motel a couple of times, exploring the local area, hiking, kayaking. Places like the Colonial are increasingly rare these days. A welcoming and authentic place to stay- and it's the nicest building in town, refreshing pool, comfortable room, and a ten minute drive in several directions to recreation and decent food. ”

“What a charming place! This motel is well-maintained, clean, and has such a cute atmosphere, perfect for a little getaway. The staff was so kind - we were greeted in the lobby by the owner (I believe?) and he was so incredibly friendly. The room was lovely and well-decorated - I especially loved the bedspread. And the pool is great as well. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again! ”

“The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home.
