“Was located center of downtown, walking distance to shopping and eating. Alot of choices. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was simple. Spent half day at ottine mineral spring. Just something else to do while staying in Gonzales”

Looked like they have started, but not finished all. Pillows were smaller than standard. Did not use pool because water was cloudy green—looked like chemicals were off. Plenty of parking space for oversized loads and trailers on the north side. Property around it looked abandoned and run down. Breakfast was great...

“The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. ”

“It's really unfortunate and surprising that the ALL the usual big name hotel brands are so bad in Cuero. This particular hotel is VERY tired, VERY smelly and lacking the expected usual Marriott experience. From the moment you walk in, the mildew smell hits you hard. The first room I was assigned, 205 smelled horrible of mold/mildew. Was very damp and simply unacceptable. I had to make a trip to the from desk and request another room. The second room I was assigned didn't smell of mold or mildew...

“Curtain fell down when my wife tried to open it blinds were all busted and waited over a day before we asked to either just swap rooms or them to fix it, the pool will be closed if it’s 100° outside with one cloud in the sky because it might rain , washer and dryer do not work , four hours after we had left because we didn’t turn in the key they assumed we wanted to stay another week and charged my card $600 without my consent or even calling me I can not recommend staying here as the owner is...

“Checked in then immediately left room smelled of mold and the ac didn’t work very outdated this hotel did not issue a complete refund only for two nights out of 5 can not recommend”

“The room seemed clean but the fridge had cockroaches , the small kind. Then the AC did not cool the room at all and I kept feeling things crawl on me at night. In the morning the breakfast bar was put away I asked the attendant if breakfast was over he said no but did not bring out the plates, forks, and so on. We made a waffle and I asked him for a plate, he seemed annoyed. This is not a family friendly stop even for just one night.”
