“Like stepping back in time! Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful rainforest surrounds the lodge and we dined looking out over the lake every night. Magical!”

“The Lighthouse Inn Suites is a very old building that is in dire need of updating. The furniture is old and outdated. We had a king bed with a lumpy mattress, which made for a very restless night. They did not have air conditioning only a ceiling fan. I am thankful that we were not there during the summertime. The bathtub, along with the shower & sink fixtures need replacing/updating. The sliding door to the balcony lock was broken so they put up a makeshift security bar, and the sliding door...

Booked a room for 4 people dog friendly room was what was offered with 2 bedrooms. It was clean and did not smell. Fully stocked 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath fully stocked Apt setting. Omg the room! So I had booked before for Mothers Day at another place so you know what I did?! I changed to the Polynesian. Yeah baby!...

“The room was nice and kitchenette was adequate. First nite was noisy with 6 kids in next room otherwise it was quiet. The grounds were nice but not much of view of ocean.”

“Best location right on the harbor to watch boats come and go with plenty of Pelicans harbor seals and sea lions to watch. Beautiful old property the owners brought back to new life very elegantly”

“The room was super clean but the walls are thin. There wasn’t a lot of people when I visited so it was not a huge deal for me. Really close to the beach and walking distance to many shops.”

“The staff at check in was great! The hotel room was a little dated but clean. Our bed was comfortable. They had movie nights for kids/families. Their breakfast was typical for small hotels. The location is close to the beach for sure. They are Pet friendly which is a huge plus! I would definitely stay here again. ”

“There was a ton of parking, but it was also on a weekend where it wasn't a holiday. On arrival the staff did let us in a couple hours early without any additional charges.Which was nice. The cleanliness of the room was okay.The walls weren't wiped down, they had fingerprints on them, And along the doors where you would open or close them, they were dirty. The breakfast was pretty good for just getting a quick bite. Although I wouldn't recommend long term stay here for a vacation, But maybe just...

“Cleanliness was great but a couple small items were overlooked - used sponge in kitchen, half -used lotion bottle in bathroom. The kitchen has a couple pots, plates, cups, and knives. No cutting board, can opener, pans, or oven trays. If you plan to cook, bring what you need. Overall we loved the place, these were small items compared to the location and freindliness of the community.”

“The room was clean and comfortable, the fishing amenities (cleaning station, grills for use) were fantastic, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Only downside was thin walls and loud, inconsiderate people in the room next door.”
