“I chose this hotel because I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and have always had great experiences. The hotel also had excellent reviews, and after a long drive from Estes Park, Colorado, toward the Houston area, I was looking forward to a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, check-in was uncomfortable. When I approached the desk, the employee remained focused on his phone for about 30 seconds before acknowledging me. He then made a strange comment to the woman I was traveling with...
