“The house! Just gorgeous and the staff super attentive! So big on details! From the rooms decor and comfort features to the breakfast and snacks. Made our mini getaway feel like we stayed with family. So close to fishing and swimming and a great selection of food close by. Will return!”

“When you walk into the hotel it smells clean and fresh. The stay was great. The room was clean and the bed was.comfortable. The bathtub was old and the refrigerator was not in the cubbie. I believe they give concern rooms to people that book through different websites who get the rooms for cheaper. ”

“To my surprise, the room was very spacious, including the bathroom! Staff responded to our requests in a timely matter as well. Definitely worth what I paid for the room. Also loved that they had more tv channels to watch than most motels/hotels. ”

“Great place to stay and fish!!! The shed is perfect size for a long weekend getaway with the family. Host is very responsive to all messages no matter the time of day. We will definitely be making another trip back to Sargent and staying here!!! ”

“Loved this house it was amazing the best in the neighborhood, will definitely come back had a blast.”

“Just wanted a little weekend getaway near the water. Matagorda is not crazy busy like Galveston so had a nice quiet weekend even on the 4th of July. Could see fireworks from the deck. The house was clean and cool. Would stay here again.”

“House is very clean , the host responds very quickly and lives on the first floor which was a little uncomfortable at first but ended up being more than fine , very friendly and the fenced back yard was a big plus with our dogs . The big L shape porch is perfect , the interior of the house is colorful and fun , we ll be back ”
