“Overall we had a great stay, however there were a few things that weren't. The jacuzzi was dirty and I spent an hour cleaning it before we could even use it. We kept our food in the microwave as the ants (which i know come with nature) were everywhere. The hot water needs a regualtor or something. Im no plumber but the hot water is dangerously hot. You finally get the temperature dialed in and literally 20 seconds later its scolding hot water followed by ice cold before the hot water wakes up...

“Overall was a great place for a family getaway for the weekend. Plenty of room for our large group to enjoy a meal between the dining table and the outside patio area. It is very rural, definitely download the area map before heading that way. Noises carry, bring a fan or noise machine if you have small kids that are light sleeper. Host was very quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed exploring the grounds- minus the wasps.”

“This is a nice place for a large get together that's close to OU and the Hocking Hills area. The property is composed of two separate buildings, a main house and a secondary house. The main house was very nice, clean, and had comfortable bedding. The secondary house is a garage that was converted into two apartments. Whoever did that conversion didn't spend a lot of money on it. While generally clean, it has a lot of dated amenities. It's a raised floor over the original concrete garage floor...

“Wow! What an incredible stay! My partner and I found this place because we wanted to hike at Hocking Hills. It was a relatively short drive (about an hour) from our stay. The inn was gorgeous - one of the nicest beds I've ever slept in, and a fantastic kitchen! The host lives in a small cottage nearby, but she was unobtrusive. In fact, she answered my texts quickly, and helped me check in, and offered to show me the features of the house. She also gave me some tips on visiting near by Athens,...

Only complaint I could have is I am a short and the bed is tall but I would take a step stool next time if needed lol. this is a hidden jewel we loved it.”

Examples, bathroom floor had not been mopped & had droplets of something on the floor, crumbs/dirt under kitchen cabinets, mouse droppings on counters & no disinfectant was left to clean up the areas, mouse droppings on floors & we couldn't find a broom. We experienced several mice (not just one) & they have left in the "house binder" that no refunds are given because of rodents & bugs in the home, which means we are not the first to experience this.
