Im going back down for an unexpected funeral and not thrilled about paying another $100 deposit when I haven't gotten the first $100 back. Other than that it was a wonderful stay there, thats why I chose it again.”

Our party of four had a great time here, it was large enough for us to span out, and the outdoor pool in the courtyard was great. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the river and watching the barges go by throughout the day. A great spot for a peaceful getaway with family or friends.”

We loved spending time on the porch, fishing in the pond, exploring the walking trails, and taking the canoe out on the water. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a few delicious homemade meals. Out of our entire 9-day road trip, which ended in Kentucky, this cabin was the absolute highlight. “Kitchen is the only picture that reflects this houses current state. There was mold on the ceiling in hallway, paint splatter all over the bathroom, back door only closes if latched, tv stand hanging on wall missing, couch stained, bed was rock hard, docks were unusable, the outside had spray foam everywhere in the cracks. “I loved how this property was in the middle of the town. The train didn’t bother me at all and I had the front room (I did use a fan and I am a light sleeper). Property was clean and communication was easy and fast if I had a question. Highly recommend and I’ll for sure be back as I have lots of family in the area”
