“The room smelled like a room from the 70s that was smoked in for 30 years. Rust all over the shower rust all over anything that was metal super tiny super stuffy. Breakfast was disgusting. The area is disgusting. I don’t know where all these great reviews came from this place is not somewhere you want to stay more than one night hopefully you’re just passing through. Very old and rundown. There is no room service unless you ask they will only come every 3 to 4 days. Make sure you ask for extra...

“They denied me the stay because I lived 20 miles from the hotel. And the lady at the front desk had a terrible attitude—just because I'm a local.”

“Property would compare to a horror movie and makes you feel like a murder has for sure happened here before. We booked 2 nights and only stayed one. It was worth losing the money just not stay another night. 10/10 worse hotel.”

“The place is amazing....peaceful and serene yet close enough to town to enjoy the events.... sure to become your favorite hideaway without emptying your pocket, who knew that Caldwell had such an incredible spot hidden within it .... it offers superb fishing, cool clear water to swim in, and there's even a floating dock and island....absolutely beautiful spot.... that's only going to get better with time.....”

“We had a good stay, it was perfect for our family. The kids loved the animals. The description was pretty accurate, although we had difficulty finding it late at night since no address is visible from street. We didn't cook much, but kitchen was fairly stocked good with cooking stuff.”

“Clean, nicely appointed guest house. Access to the large, fully fenced yard was very appreciated. We had two dogs traveling with us, and they enjoyed the chance to run after being in the car all day. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The hosts also provide an offstreet parking space. Overall very happy with our stay and hope to stay again.”

“Everything as listed. Very comfortable for solo traveler.”

“What am amazing home!! I felt like I was a small girl visiting my grandparents. Very warm and comfortable. ”

“It was perfect for our family gathering.”

“Lovely view and landscaping. Very nice pool also.”

“This house was perfect for us. Our daughter and son-in-law joined us for a family reunion. Another couple or children could have occupied the third bedroom. We loved the recliners! The entire house is tastefully and well appointed, and very clean - almost new. The washer and dryer were a bonus. The location: half a block from the charming old town. We could walk to coffee shops, restaurants and the lively riverside park. Ben was responsive every step of the way. We'll stay here again the next...

“We love the neighborhood this is located in, and we also really love the vintage of the home. It has all we need to be comfortable. Thank you for making it available for us. we well be back”

“The host was prompt and friendly with reservations and communication.New appliances in the kitchen. Even coffee by the coffee pot. We did not cook while we were there, but it would have been easy with the kitchen well equipped. The only negative was the dirty stairwell and corridor leading to our room. But we were plenty surprised when we went into the apartment.”

“This property has a small fenced yard that is secure for small dogs”
