“This is a cool old southern house. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were visiting a relative that lives in town and this was close by and just as affordable as the motels in town. We had the bridal suite, which was spacious. There were 2 things that could be improved upon, but are minor issues. 1: Shower water pressure was low 2: The door to the room stuck very hard and you made a bunch of noise trying to open or close it, Luckily there were no other guests in the house...

“Pictures don’t do this property justice! Mr. Jack contacted me by text as soon as I booked his property and quickly answered all my questions. We enjoyed fishing and using his kayaks on the beautiful private lake. Our 5-year-old grandson is now hooked on fishing! It’s a very safe area for him to fish from the well-maintained lawn and retaining wall. Mr Jack and his wife made us feel so welcome and would definitely rent here again.”

“Mr. Bob was very easy to communicate with. I do wish that we had known ahead of time that there is little to no phone service there and no wifi. It is also in the middle of nowhere which we enjoyed, however, was so secluded that we had to drive about 30 minutes just to go to the nearest grocery store. The roads to it are also just gravel/dirt roads that were extremely muddy after the rain, we had a truck and an hatchback with us and the hatchback would not have made it down the road after the...

“What a great place! Right on the lake. Room , room and more room. This is the perfect place for a big family gatherring. Host was awesome. He even found a corn hole game as a special request. Kitchen and great room on the bottom floor had everything we needed. Fire pit out by the lake was perfect to just sit around and watch deer come in to get a drink.”

“Beautiful spot on the lake however, the house was not what it could have been. Lots of cleanliness and maintenance issues. AC in the master did not work even though the owner called a repairman to come out and look at it, nothing was done. The Internet and the house did not work very well and was often out for long periods. Beds were very uncomfortable and too many Maint issues to mention. I highly recommend shopping around as it’s probably better for the price.”
