“Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved.”

“The room was filthy. The floors were dirty. The baseboard around the bathroom had about a half an inch of crud on it. Hair behind the bathroom door. There was piece of toilet paper thrown behind the bathroom door. Just not my idea of a high-quality hotel..”

“Parking was a breeze and we were in a Ford F350 Crew Cab. The staff was welcoming, professional and responsive. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay ourselves again and recommend this hotel without any hesitation.”

“I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.”
