“Room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed for the night.”

“We have stayed here before because they accept pets (for $15 extra a night). There's nothing special about the motel, just an easy location for a decent price. The beds are a bit uncomfortable and the rooms could use a little updating with paint, but otherwise just fine.”

“The facility was unsafe and unsanitary. There was a clear mouse infestation, and the odor became unbearable. The lack of running water made the property unlivable. I contacted the host multiple times regarding the water issue, but nothing was done.Additionally, the oven did not work, there were no lights on the outside staircase leading to the bedroom, and there was no lock on the door, creating serious safety concerns.”

“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”

“We stayed at Eagle’s Nest from May 1–3 and had a very relaxing getaway overall. The cabin is in a remote-feeling location with beautiful views of the Mississippi River, which you can enjoy right from the hot tub—easily the highlight of our stay. “Great spot to stay for a weekend getaway or fishing trip. Quiet, secluded, clean and room for activities of all kinds. Had a great stay and would stay here again!”

“All was good . Very nice. Just an overnight for a show at temple theater. It is only about a block from the theater. Communication was prompt. It is a first floor room, just know that there are five outdoor steps to get in. ”
