“I was a guest at a nearby wedding and the Mushroom Cap was a venue listed by the bride as a nearby option to book for the night/weekend. The photos online made it look so quaint and adorable and seeing it in person did not disappoint! The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were very clean and kept. The cabins on site are due to be reopened after a full remodel and I look forward to booking there again for a longer stay to utilize the nearby summer attractions.”

“The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view was immaculate. However the shower was never a consistent temperature as if all the rooms were hooked to the same water. If another room flushed their toilet the water would become scalding. You could hear conversations in the parking lot as if they were talking next to you in your room. I had a pleasant stay just not what I was expecting.”

“Jenna was not on site but immediately responded to my text asking to check in early. She kindly told me how to access the key to my room, which was clean and tidy. There were plenty of towels, 2 hand-soaps and a hairdryer, but there were no shampoo/conditioner/lotion available. The beds and bedding were comfortable, which my back appreciated! The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water; the tub however had trouble draining and the towel rack was loose and fell apart when I hung my towel....

“Nice staff Wish we would’ve stayed another night”

“This was a one night stay as we were traveling. I got a fair price for a nice first floor king room. The gentleman on duty stayed a few minutes longer to accommodate our check-in. I appreciated that. I did not utilize any of the amenities as the pool was already closed for the season and our travels would not allow exploration of any other thing they may have offered. At No Fault of the resort, I was disappointed that after a long day of hiking and biking I was looking forward to a relaxing...

“Great place”

“Fine for what it is. Our bathroom was remodeled and clean, but the bedroom itself had some weird stains or something on the wall by the trash can. Fine for a quick, cheap night stay!”

“There was a lot of noise in the hall and some rooms late at night. The back door shuts loudly and there doesn't seem to be much security. Monitored cameras may help. We noticed strong marijuana odors during much of our stay. A 3-4 inch nail was found in the driveway in the morning.”

“Even though the hotel was in the middle of renovations the staff was fantastic and made our stay great.”

“Very nice cabins! Whenever we up in the area, we stay here! Only thing you can hear the traffic going by but definitely worth it! The owner is very friendly and helpful!!”

“I recently had a 1 night stay at Cadillac Inn. An older motel; coffee readily available, room clean, no frills, good shower. Adequate for my travel need. I would go back there again.”

“This condo is part of an old house and has VERY unlevel floors. Your roller bags will roll away. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have used an exhaust fan to keep it from getting steamy with showers. The contact people were very responsive when texted. The lake view and balcony was very nice.”

“I had hopes that this “resort” would be good. Sadly, the room I was given (for disabled) wasn’t finished being cleaned. The bed was stripped of bedding. The 2 ladies at the front desk scrambled to get the bed made. (We appreciated that!) Then they gave us a clean room. It was handicapped and happily accepted it. The room was available for the next night but I chose to stay in the regular room. The staff said we would get a discount due to the inconvenience. We were not given any discount....

“Throughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and cozy. Will stay again. Close to the Tippy Dam recreation area. Only down fall was no washer/dryer”

“This cabin was so incredibly cute. We stayed up there for an extended weekend as a family of 4. My kids loved the cabin and the woods around it. You could tell there was a lot of love that went into that place. It was 2 miles from Fife Lake, which was beautiful. Cute places to eat and explore.”

“When we arrived the trash dumpster was completely overflow and was the whole time we were there. our son who lives nearby had to take three bags of trash home to his dumpster. the window sills were all full of dead bugs and Dusty. The bathroom sink drained extremely slow. three elderly people showed up and said they were the owners immediately went in and used the bathroom while we had company, and said they had to drop some stuff off. they were there for over an hour unloading things out...

“THE HOST IS VERY FRIENDLY AND GOOD COMMUNICATION. THE PROPERTY IS VERY NICE. THE ROOMS ARE VERY NICE.”
