“Our room was a Superior room, very clean and spacious. The staff on Reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful. The hotel has nice grounds and plenty of car parking. It is ideally situated for the town.”

“We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay”

“We had our wedding reception at The Eagle & child 17 years ago. We stayed for one night yesterday as a trip down memory lane. The fire was roaring when we went into the pub which was a gorgeous welcome on a grey and rainy day. It feels like a proper pub- friendly staff and locals. Love the quirky decor with all sorts of random objects that have been collected. The lighting make it feel cosy. We sat all afternoon chatting and drinking.
