Hotel con bar in Cumbria

“The food in the restaurant was first class and the staff were friendly and always helpful”

“The room was clean the bed was comfy the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel sauna, hotub, and pool were great the gym looked good all was very clean. The hotel its self needs a bit of TLC and is basic but its in a great spot and we would stay again.”

“Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.”

“The WiFi was very spotty and I couldn’t get on at all. Staff however helped with signing me onto the staff WiFi. Mattress was very soft. The window - painted over - was not good as there was no way of seeing what the weather was like, especially as we were in a room at the very end of the corridor. Luckily there was a heater as the radiator wasn’t working. All this being said, the hotel is in an excellent position - right next to the station.”

“Stayed here a few times. Service didn’t feel as good as previously. Few things missing in the cabin (milk) kindling, logs. Managed to get some from staff but they weren’t replenished. Had a meal in the restaurant. Again not as nice as previously”

“Fab location in the heart of Bowness, close to the lake. It's a bit tired, but the staff are nice. The pool is lovely. Parking is a short walk away, about 300 yards. Nice, but in need of an update”

“Caratteristico pub però con camere assolutamente da rinnovare. Letti scomodi, arredamento e decorazione troppo vecchio. La pulizia del bagno e lenzuola ok. Ma la moquette, finestra ed arredi hanno bisogno di una pulizia più profonda. Molto buona la colazione ed il personale molto disponibile.”
