“The house is a very unique house with a deep history set in extensive formal gardens. The staff, particularly in reception and the Restaurant are attentive and very pleasant. The age and design of the house allows functions such as weddings and prom parties to be held without disturbing other guests. It may be a little dog-eared but that seems to add to its charm.”

“Biggest positive was communication - helped us out massively with confusion over booking. Quick communication much appreciated. Regarding the property - It was a base for a night. Everything was on the budget side of things. Clean beds and towels. It just needed a thorough spring clean. Random cutlery pots and pans were all mish mash and needed cleaning before use. But was passable - for one night. No complaints. ”

“This hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! I had a really refreshing nights sleep. The breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit prepared ready, soya milk and various yogurts, and well-cooked eggs etc. I would def return. ”
