“the property was too old. No shower ,soap n shampoo provide .Bad smell inside property.No water supply in the morning. cant even blush my teeth. I need to make breakfast n rush to Rotorua for hot pool, now i hv to eat outside,pay extra,but cant get in the hot pool as im late. pls make a refund .”

“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. “Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness.”

“This property is on a real working farm in New Zealand, with happy contented cows watching you come and go. We were treated to in-house preserves of jam, and a lovely welcome. It was especially helpful that this accommodation was a short drive from the Hobbotin movie set, which we had visited earlier that day. So we reached our destination on the winding country road before it got dark; very convenient. We were 2 adults but would definitely recommend this spacious accommodation for families.”

“Pros: Lovely property; we really enjoyed the stay.Cons:Water pressure in the shower was poor. Security concern: on the morning of check out we found an empty bottle beer on the steps are the rear. This was not there the day before. We were concerned if there had been a prowler during the night.”

“It was such a lovely retreat after our long days out on hikes. Very clean, had washing and drying unit, and full kitchen to cook. The beds were very comfy, ours had a blanket warmer which worked great on the colder nights. Bathroom was seperated which worked well with 5 of us and plenty of hot water. Loved this place, highly recommend!”
