The pool was fine if not a bit chilly but was offset by the warm hot tub. We enjoyed getting dinner in the Curling Club’s bar and kids had fun watching a match! “Things went wrong that were outwith the hotels control. The staff went above and beyond to make up for the issue. We had a lovely stay as a result and would heartily recommend the Portpatrick hotel to others. Fantastic hospitality. ”

“Everything was nice the staff to the food it's such a beautiful period build with a good mixture of old and modern. A nice large swimming pool alongside some games for children to keep entertained. Will be back hopefully later this year to finish off my wee tour of D&G”

“This is a really lovely hotel for an even lovelier price ! The staff are very friendly, the rooms spacious and spotless and we had an excellent breakfast that kept us going all day. We would normally have stayed at the Premier Inn in Dumfries every time we come over from NI to visit family but will definitely be staying in the Holiday Inn in Dumfries from now on. ”

Colazione molto buona anche se poca la scelta della parte dolce ma giustamente in queste zone prediligono la parte salata. Lo consiglierei. ”
